Grow in your own way.

I’m motivated lately by growth. By learning from the things that hurt. When you get to a place and you realize you don’t want to feel this anymore. It’s powerful. It slides you right out of sadness and victim mentality and stands you straight up in the truth of your power and also in your grace. It also shows you a picture of your shortcomings if you’re open to seeing them. (You should be) The truth is, we all have people around us who have an opinion on how we should grow. How we should be BETTER. But the reality is, you’re not ready to take that step until something in your soul asks for change. It cries out for you to embrace the switch, the realization, the ah-ha moment. No one can be forced there and they definitely can’t be forced with harmful words or judgement. It happens in your peace. In the peace of knowing that you can do it alone. On your own. Having faith in you. Because, at that moment of solidarity you’re free. You’re free of judgement but still living in the reality of your details. The details that NO ONE else knows. So when you step into your power you open the portal for growth. Use the resources needed outside of your brain (aka… go to a therapist and tell them the fucking truth) Also, listen to the advice of people who may be a step outside of your closest circle, because they see the truth without the emotion. Then, put in the fucking work. Do the work. Every day. You can grow in your own way.

Judgement will always be there. Don’t show them…. show you. Because we all function best, when we’re accepted and trusted just the way we are. So, accept yourself. Believe in yourself.

That’s where the magic happens.
